Extra Details:: COBRA1 (cofactor of BRCA1) also known as NELF-B, is an essential component of the negative elongation factor (NELF) complex. COBRA1 has been shown to directly bind estrogen receptor alpha (ERα) and repress ERα-mediated transcription (Aiyar SE et al., 2004). COBRA1 has also been demonstrated to interact with c-Jun and c-Fos suggesting a role in modulation of the AP-1 pathway and therefore may be important in cell proliferation, differentiation, apoptosis and oncogenesis (Zhong H et al., 2004) Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
