Extra Details:: BVD is endemic in most cattle-producing countries and in some countries is considered the single most important viral infection of cattle. The major reservoir responsible for disease spread geographically is the persistent infection syndrome (BVDV-PI) seen in calves. Applications: Suitable for use in Lateral Flow and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Matched Pair: Pairs with 052278 detect native BVDV in lateral flow immunoassay. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
