Extra Details:
Terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase (TdT) is a template-independent DNA polymerase that catalyzes the addition of deoxynucleotides to the 3'-hydroxyl terminus of oligonucleotide primers. It is expressed in restricted populations of normal and malignant pre-B and pre-T lymphocytes during early differentiation, where it generates antigen receptor diversity by synthesizing non-germ line elements (N-regions) at the junctions of rearranged Ig heavy chain and T cell receptor gene segments. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms of this protein have been described. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA, Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 1-4ug/ml. Intracellular staining. Immunohistochemistry: paraffin Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
