- Extra Details:
- Jagged-1 is a ligand for multiple Notch receptors and involved in the mediation of Notch signaling. It is involved in cell-fate decisions during hematopoiesis. Is involved in early and late stages of mammalian cardiovascular development. Inhibits myoblast differentiation. Enhances fibroblast growth factor-induced angiogenesis (in vitro). Defects in Jagged-1 are the cause of Alagille syndrome type 1 (ALGS1) and tetralogy of Fallot (TOF). Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Flow Cytometry, ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA (direct or indirect): 1:500-1:5000 Western Blot: 1:500-1:5000 using ECL. Suggested blocking and dilution buffer is PBST with 0.05% Tween 20 and 5% skim milk. Suggested incubation time is 1 hour at room temperature. Flow Cytometry: 1:20-1:100 Immunohistochemistry: paraffin sections Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
