- Extra Details:
- Jagged-1 is a ligand for multiple Notch receptors and involved in the mediation of Notch signaling. It is involved in cell-fate decisions during hematopoiesis. Is involved in early and late stages of mammalian cardiovascular development. Inhibits myoblast differentiation. Enhances fibroblast growth factor-induced angiogenesis (in vitro). Defects in Jagged-1 are the cause of Alagille syndrome type 1 (ALGS1) and tetralogy of Fallot (TOF). Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 1:20-1:100 Western Blot: 1:500-1:5000 using ECL. Suggested blocking and dilution buffer is PBST with 0.05% Tween 20 and 5% skim milk. Suggested incubation time is 1 hour at room temperature Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
