Extra Details:: Giantin, the largest Golgi membrane protein, is C-terminally anchored to cis- and medial-Golgi membranes and forms a long ~250nm coiled-coil rod that directly interacts with microtubules in a cell-cycle regulated way. It is an excellent marker for mammalian golgi complex. It is also an antigen in chronic rheumatoid arthritis and in the autoimmune disease Sjoegren syndrome. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
