Extra Details:: SMPD2 converts sphingomyelin to ceramide and hydrolyzes 1-acyl-2-lyso-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (lyso-PC) and 1-O-alkyl-2-lyso-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (lyso-platelet-activating factor). The physiological substrate seems to be Lyso-PAF. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Indirect Flow Cytometry, ELISA Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000 Western Blot: 1:50-100 Indirect Flow Cytometry: 1:10-50 Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
