Extra Details:
The protein encoded by this gene is a secreted enzyme that catalyzes the degradation of platelet-activating factor to biologically inactive products. Defects in this gene are a cause of platelet-activating factor acetylhydrolase deficiency. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Flow Cytometry (Not Tested). Other applications not tested Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:1000 Immunohistochemistry (FFPE): 1:10-1:50 Flow Cytometry (Not Tested): 1:10-1:50 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
