Extra Details:: PIK3AP1 is involved in the activation of phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K) in B-cells and in natural killer (NK) cells. Couples B-cell antigen receptor (BCR) to PI3K activation by providing a docking site for the PI3K subunit PIK3R1, which contributes to B-cell development. Seems to have a complementary role with CD19 in PI3K activation (By similarity). May be involved in the survival of mature B cells via activation of REL (By similarity). Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
