Extra Details:: Nsr1p is localized in the nucleolus and binds to telomeric single-stranded oligonucleotide repeat sequence of the type and binds to the single-stranded telomeric repeat sequence (TG1-3)n. It has a role in ribosomal RNA maturation and possibly in transport of proteins into the nucleus. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence/Immunocytochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunofluorescence: For yeast cells, try diluted 1:500-1:5000. Western Blot: For yeast protein samples (cell and nuclear lysates), try diluted 1:10,000, followed by chemiluminescent detection (ECL). For non-ECL Western detection methods, try diluted 1:1000-1:5000. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
