Extra Details:: Epitope tags consisting of short sequences recognized by well-characterizated monoclonal antibodies have been widely used in the study of protein expression in various systems. The HA tag (YPYDVPDYA) and Myc Tag (AEEQKLISEEDLLRKRREQLKHKLE), recognized by monoclonal antibody clones 12CA5 and 9E10, respectively, are illustrative examples. Our anti-HA monoclonal antibody (Clone 12CA5) provides a simple solution to detect the expression of an HA-tagged protein in cells. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:8000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
