Extra Details:: Histone H2A deubiquitinase MYSM, often referred to as 2A-DUB is metalloprotease that specifically deubiquitinates monoubiquitinated histone H2A. 2A-DUB regulates transcription by coordinating histone acetylation and deubiquitination, and destabilizing the association of linker histone H1 with nucleosomes. The 2A-DUB mechanism may just be one of many H2A ubiquitination proteins that have the ability to regulate transcription. 2A-DUB is also essential for cell cycle progression and gene expression. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000 detected MYSM1 on 10ug of NIH/3T3 cell lysate. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: NIH/3T3 cell lysate Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
