- Extra Details:
- MaxLight™650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000. DEPTOR was recently identified as a novel mTOR-interacting protein whose over-expression in certain cell types represents a new mechanism for activating PI3K/Akt signaling and promoting cell survival. DEPTOR negatively regulates mTORC1 and mTORC2. It has been shown that loss of DEPTOR activates various targets that include p70S6K1, Akt, and SGK1, that leads to cell growth and survival. Little was known about DEPDC6 prior to the discovery of its interactions with mTOR, at which time it was given the new name of DEPTOR. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: detected DEPTOR in HEK293 cell lysate. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: HEK293 cell lyaste Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™650 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
