- Taspine is an alkaloid isolated from Radix et Rhizoma Leonticis. It shows various pharmaceutical properties: bacteriostatic, wound healing, cytotoxicity, immunosuppression, acetilcholinesterase inhibition, and inhibition of the activity of tumor angiogenesis. Used as human acid beta-glucosidase inhibitor and for the treatment of Gaucher disease. Appearance: Supplied as an off-white to pale yellow solid. Purity ≥90% Melting Point: >300°C (dec.)
