Purity:: Purified from human kidney cells stably transfected with full-length human MMP-7. Free of contaminating MMPs and TIMPs.
Storage Conditions:: MMP-7, when stripped of TIMPs, is unstable, and must stored carefully. To avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles, aliquot and store the enzyme at -70 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -70 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
