- Human Serum Albumin Powder is obtained via Cohn fractionation of human plasma. The lyophilized crystalline powder is soluble in water and is suitable for a wide range of applications in the life sciences, including but not limited to: IVD manufacturing, cell culture supplements. Albumin is a stable small polypeptide with a strong antigenicity. It has a molecular weight of 69000 and an isoelectric point of 5.7. Cohn Fraction V is prepared under non-denaturing conditions by a modification of the Cohn procedure.
