How Can You Improve Your EV Bioprocess?
Through our colleagues at HansaBioMed Life Sciences, we provide a wide range of offerings that can take your research to a next level. Our aim is to provide you with a closer look to demonstrate how you can exploit our portfolio and activities.
EV Research Services
EV research can be cumbersome sometimes, requiring an expert hand to mitigate its difficulty. Whenever you need assistance with your EV-based project, we are here to put our expertise in action. With our know-how on EVs developed since 2007, we assist your therapeutic, diagnostic, or cosmetic projects focusing on EVs in many ways.
EV Purification: Available from biofluids, conditioned media, and plants. Scalable from 100μL to 50L
EV Subpopulation Enrichment: Enrichment of EV populations derived from specific cells (i.e. tumour cells) for diagnostic or therapeutic biomarker discovery
EV Analysis: EV characterisation by NTA/fNTA or flow cytometry, morphology assessment by TEM, marker expression analysis by ELISA
EV Engineering: Surface modification of EVs from different sources and stably fluorescently labelled EV generation
Mesenchymal Stem Cell-Derived EVs
Do you need well-characterised, highly pure EVs derived from mesenchymal stem cells for your research? Then search no more!
The recent years staged a boom in the use of stem cells as the source of EVs. In fact, they have even become the most popular source of EVs after surpassing tumour-derived EVs. This can be attributed to several factors, including the developing know-how on the potential of stem cells for wound healing and regenerative medicine.
As HansaBioMed Life Sciences, we provide users with access to the merits of adipose tissue MSC-EVs. Our optimised isolation protocol based on tangential flow filtration (TFF) and size exclusion chromatography (SEC) ensures high purity of EVs, whereas multi-step quality control protocol following MISEV2023 guidelines provides high level of characterisation. Their lyophilised form not only relieves the shipment from any dry ice requirement but also enables the EVs to be stored at +4°C, inside simple fridges. Even further than that, lyophilization keeps MSC-EVs stable for up to 3 years!

ExoTEST: Ready-to-Use ELISA Kits
Just isolating EVs is never enough, you need to ensure what you isolated indeed consists of EVs. And here is a ready-to-use way of doing it via EV markers: ExoTEST kits!
ExoTEST is a patented double sandwich ELISA assay for quantitative and qualitative analysis of EVs from small amount of human biological fluids or cell media. Alongside the catalog availabilities for overall EV capture and tumour-released EV quantification, we also offer customisation of the kit with antibodies of request, adapting it to your needs.
While this kit is in general useful for applications like EV quantification from biofluids and cell culture media, EV comprehensive profiling, pre-clinical research on biomarker detection and monitoring, it can be used also for more niche applications, such as the analysis of formation, stability, and biochemical composition of EV surface corona.
