Weitere Details:: Thromboxane (TX) synthase catalyzes the conversion of prostaglandin H2 to TXA2, which is a potent vasoconstrictor and inducer of platelet aggregation. The enzyme has been cloned from a variety of species including human, pig, rat, and mouse and has a molecular weight of approximately 60,000. Northern blot analysis reveals that the gene is expressed in lung, kidney and spleen. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 1:40 after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. Western Blot: 1:200 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
