Weitere Details:: Amyloid consists mainly of rigid, non-branching protein fibrils, together with rod-like aggregates of a pentagonal-shaped glycoprotein called amyloid P protein. Amyloid P protein, also known as component P, comprises 10% of amyloid tissue. It is present in all but the central nervous system forms of amyloid. Amyloid P protein is a constituent of normal basement membranes and the microfibrillary elastic fiber network. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Matched Pair: S1003-04: Suitable for use as the capture antibody. S1003-03: Suitable for use as the detection antibody when conjugated to biotin. Hybridoma: NS1 myeloma cell line Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
