Weitere Details:: Relaxin is a peptide hormone belonging to the insulin gene superfamily. It is made by the corpora lutea of the ovaries during pregnancy in many mammalian species. The secretion of the hormone into the blood stream just before parturition results in softening and lengthening of the pubic symphysis and a softening of the cervix, which facilitates the process of birth. Relaxin-1 is proteolytically processed into a hetorodimer that has two peptide chains, A and B that are covalently linked by disulfide bonds. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Allophycocyanin (APC) is light sensitive. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
