Weitere Details:: Psoriasin/HID-5 was originally identified as an up-regulated protein in psoriatic keratinocytes (1). Subsequently, this protein was found to have elevated expression in abnormally differentiating primary keratinocytes and in various carcinomas, including ductal carcinoma in situ (2-3). Psoriasin/HID-5 may play a role in the establishment or maintenance of these pathologies, and may serve as a diagnostic marker of particular tumor types or abnormally proliferative epithelia. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1ug/ml Immunohistochemistry: formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded. Optimal dilution to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Confluent MCF10A cells (11kD band by Western blot) Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
