Weitere Details:: PPARδ is one of three peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR) subtypes that possess a domain structure common to other members of the nuclear receptor gene family. It was first cloned from Xenopus laevis and named PPARβ. PPARδ is ubiquitously expressed but is particularly abundant in tissues such as liver, intestine, kidney, abdominal adipose, and skeletal muscle, all of which are involved in lipid metabolism. PPARδ is a mediator of diverse physiological functions including lipid and cholesterol homeostasis, embryo implantation, and cancer development. Most recently, attention has been focused on the role of PPARδ in obesity. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 1:200. Heat-induced antigen retrieval in citrate buffer, pH 6.0. Western Blot: 1: 200 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
