Weitere Details:: Oxyntomodulin (OXM) is a gut peptide that is released postprandially and acts as a satiety signal via effects on appetite centers such as the hypothalamus and brainstem. Oxyntomodulin is a 37-amino-acid peptide that contains the 29-amino-acid structure of glucagon, followed by an octapeptide C-terminal extension. It is one of the products of the glucagon gene GCG, which is expressed in the intestine, pancreas and central nervous system. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 1:6400 (0.156ug/ml) Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Amino Acid Sequence: His-Ser-Gln-Gly-Thr-Phe-Thr-Ser-Asp-Tyr-Ser-Lys-Tyr-Leu-Asp-Ser-Arg-Arg-Ala-Gln-Asp-Phe-Val-Gln-Trp-Leu-Met-Asn-Thr-Lys-Arg- Asn-Arg-Asn-Asn-Ile-Ala Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS/ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
