Weitere Details:: Olig1 and Olig2 are basic-helix-loop-helix (bHLH) transcription factors expressed in the motor neuron progenitor (pMN) domain of the spinal cord that generates motor neurons and oligodendrocytes. Olig1 is involved in the development andmaturation of oligodendrocytes. Olig2 is required for oligodendrocyte and motor neuron specification in the spinal cord. Olig1 and 2 are also a markers for the most common primary tumors of the human brain are thought to be of glial cell origin. Therefore, there is diagnostic potential of Olig markers to augment identification of oligodendroglial tumors. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:3000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:200-1:1000 Immunocytochemistry: 1:1000 Immunoprecipitation: 1:500-1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
