- The protein encoded by this gene is one subunit of a cleavage factor required for 3' RNA cleavage and polyadenylation processing. The interaction of the protein with the RNA is one of the earliest steps in the assembly of the 3' end processing complex and facilitates the recruitment of other processing factors. This gene encodes the 25kD subunit of the protein complex, which is composed of four polypeptides. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Dot Blot, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 0.5-2ug/sample. HeLa cells were fixed in PBS, 2% paraformaldehyde and then permeabilized in 90% methanol prior to staining. Western Blot: 0.2-2ug/ml Immunoprecipitation: 100-500ug/sample Immunocytochemistry: 2-100ug/ml. HeLa cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS prior to immunostaining. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
