- MPO is an important component of azurophilic granules in neutrophils, being involved in microbicidal processes. The protein is a multimer of 2 heavy chains (55kD) and two light chains (15kD), the heavy chains being linked by a disulfide bond. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, FLISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): 1:1000-1:5000 Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:500-1:1000 Western Blot: Non-reducing conditions. Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher. Recommended Secondary Reagent (FC): I1904-66A: IgG, F(ab’)2 (FITC) Pab Rb x Mo Recommended Negative Control: I1904-78R: IgG1 Murine Negative Control Recommended Positive Control Tissue (IHC): Bone marrow Recommended Secondary Antibodies (IHC): I1904-65W: IgG, F(ab’)2 (HRP) Pab Rb x Mo I1904-66C: IgG, F(ab’)2, X-Adsorbed (HRP) Pab Rb x Mo Hybridoma: Spleen cells from immunized mice were fused with cells of the mouse X63 AG8-653 myeloma cell line. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
