Weitere Details:: Human Myelin Protein Zero (Po) is a 28.400 Kd protein (258 aa) found in myelin of the PNS. Expressed in myelinating Schwann cells, Po serves as a homophilic adhesion molecule, allowing adjacent laminae of the myelin sheath to undergo compaction. Po is also a marker of a subpopulation of neural crest cells. Mutations of the MPZ gene product in humans is responsible for Charcot-Marie-Tooth type 1B neuropathies (HMSN1B). Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry: 1:1000-1:2000 using 2% paraformaldehyde-fixed tissues Immunocytochemistry: 1:1000-1:2000 using 2% paraformaldehyde-fixed cells Western Blot: 1:2000-1:5000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Secondary Antibodies: I1906-10: IgY, Chicken (HRP) Rb x Ch I1906-12: IgY, Chicken (FITC) Rb x Ch I1906-14: IgY, Chicken (AP) Rb x Ch Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
