Weitere Details:
Kaiso is a transcriptional represor that belongs to POZ-zinc finger family of transcription factors implicated in development and cancer. It binds to specific methylated CpG dinucleotides in the consensus sequence 5'-CGCG-3' and it also binds to non-methylated consensus sequence 5'-CTGCNA-3'. It recruits the N-CoR repressor complex to promote histone deacetylation and the formation of represive chromatin structures in taget gene promoters. Kaiso may contribute to the repression of target genes of the Wnt signaling pathway. Kaiso is a novel member of the BTB/POZ (Broad complex, Tramtrak, Bric à brac/Pox virus and zinc finger) zinc finger superfamily of transcription factors. Yeast 2-hybrid studies have shown that Kaiso interacts with catenin p120ctn. This interaction involves the Arm repeats of 1-7 of the p120ctn Armadillo domain and the carboxyl-terminal third of Kaiso. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunoprecipitation, Immunofluorescence, Western Blot and FLISA. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunoprecipitation: 10ug/IP reaction Immunofluorescence: 10ug/ml Western Blot: 1-3ug/ml FLISA: 0.1-1ug/ml Note: Immunofluorescent assays were performed on cell lines fixed with 100% methanol at –20 °C for 7 minutes. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
