- IL12 Rb2 is a type I cytokine receptor family protein that associates with IL 12 Rb1 to form a functional high affinity receptor complex for IL12. The extracellular region of IL 12 Rb2 contains five fibronectin type 3 domains. The cytoplasmic region is alternatively spliced, giving rise to two isoforms. IL12 Rb2 is upregulated in TH1 cells during inflammatory responses. The extracellular regions of human and mouse IL 12 Rb2 share 69% aa sequence identity. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 2ug/ml using human Th1 cells Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
