Weitere Details:: Insulinlike growth factor binding protein7, also known as mac25, a 256 aa secreted protein and member of a growing family of IGFBPs which regulate the biological activities and distribution of the insulinlike growth factors (IGFs), through binding to IGFI and IGFII. IGFBP7 is widely expressed throughout normal tissues, but is also expressed in many tumor types at an increased or reduced level, and acts as a suppressor of breast and prostate cancer cell lines. IGFBP7 inhibits IGFinduced differentiation of skeletal muscle (myogenesis) and has implications in bone formation, by its possible affects on the actions of parathyroid hormone (PTH) and cortisol. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
