Weitere Details:: Insulin and glucagon are pancreatic endocrine hormones secreted by islet cells within the pancreas. The stimulus for insulin secretion is a HIGH blood glucose. Deficiency of insulin results in diabetes mellitus, one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality in the general population. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, RIA, Immunocytochemistry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): proteolytic digestion of the tissue is essential. Optimal dilution determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
