- Schistosoma Japonicum glutathione S-transferase (GST) is a 26kD enzyme that conjugates reduced glutathione to hydrophobic electrophiles. GST is an ideal fusion partner for the production of foreign proteins in commercially available expression systems because it can be expressed in high levels in E. coli. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunostaining. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1,000 Immunoprecipitation: 1:200 Immunostaining 1:200 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
