- Galactosylceramides play an important roles in promoting the regulation of nerve cells, regulating protein kinase C activities and modulating the function of the hormone receptor. It has shown to have significant immunostimulatory and anti-tumor activity in mice with liver metastasis of the Colon26 adenocarcinoma. Solubility: Tetrahydrofuran Storage and Stability: May be stored at RT for short-term only. Long-term storage is recommended at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
