- MaxLight™550 is a new Yellow-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™546, 555, DyLight™549 , Cy3™, TRITC and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (550nm); Emission (575nm); Extinction Coefficient 150,000. Gamma-aminobutyric acid tye A (GABAA) receptors are members of the neurotransmitter ligand-gated ion channels that mediate neuronal inhibition on binding GABA. The effects of GABA on GABAA receptors are modulated by a range of therapeutically important drugs, including barbiturates, anaesthetics and benzodiazepines. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500 detected GABA A Receptor beta 2,3 chain on 10ug of mouse brain membrane lysate. Mouse brain membrane lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to PVDF membrane and probed with G1015-17. Proteins were visualized using an IgG (HRP) goat anti-mouse and a chemiluminescence detection system. Immunohistochemistry: 10-20ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Secondary Antibodies: I1904-06C: IgG, H&L (HRP) (X-Adsorbed) Pab Gt x Mo I1904-06H: IgG, H&L (HRP) (X-Adsorbed) Pab Gt x Mo Positive Control: HepG2 cell lysate Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™550 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
