- Fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) is a small fluoresent molecule that is commonly conjugated to antibodies for immunofluorescent cell labeling. In conjunction with anti-FITC antibodies, it can also be used as an epitope tag for detection and signal amplification. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1.25-2.25ug/ml Optimal dilution to be determined by researcher. Fusion Partners: Spleen cells from immunized LOU/c rats were fused with cells of the IR983F rat myeloma cell line. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
