- Erythropoietin is a humoral factor that stimulates erythropoiesis. EPO has four introns and five exons and contains 165 amino acids. EPO induces growth and differentiation of burst forming units and colony forming units into mature red blood cells. Human erythropoietin stimulates growth of rodent bone marrow cells. Recombinant erythropoietin is produced in CHO cells by a DNA sequence encoding the human EPO protein. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Matched Pairs: Capture: E3455-15A Detection: E3455-15 Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
