Weitere Details:
Mouse Dopamine receptor D4 is a 387 aa, G-protein coupled and transmembrane receptor protein (1). This gene encodes the D4 subtype of the dopamine receptor. The D4 subtype is a G-protein coupled receptor which inhibits adenylyl cyclase. It is a target for drugs which treat schizophrenia and Parkinson disease. Mutations in this gene have been associated with various behavioral phenotypes, including autonomic nervous system dysfunction, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and the personality trait of novelty seeking. This gene contains a polymorphic number (2-10 copies) of tandem 48 nt repeats; the sequence shown contains four repeats. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 0.5-1ug/ml (1ug/ml immnogen peptide/well) Western Blot: 1-10ug/ml using chemiluminescence technique. ~100-400ug of membrane protein/lane should be loaded to visualize the receptor band. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
