- Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 20ug/ml using PLP fixed rat brain sections. Stains specific cells in various regions of PLP fixed rat brain sections including medial septum, nucleus accumbens, dentate gyrus, globus pallidus, medial forebrain bundle, cortex regions 1-3, substantia sigra reticulata, and the ventral tegmental area Western Blot: 50ug/ml Detects 51kD band in whole rat brain homogenate. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
