- Cornulin is a survival factor that participates in the clonogenicity of squamous esophageal epithelium cell lines. It attenuates deoxycholic acid (DCA)-induced apoptotic cell death and the release of calcium. In overexpressed oral squamous carcinoma cell lines, cornulin negatively regulates cell proliferation by the induction of G1 arrest. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry (frozen sections): 1:100 Western Blot: 1:2000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
