- MaxLight™650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000. PI-linked glycoprotein, MW 18-20kD found on all types of leukocytes including platelets. The antigen is expressed on many haemapoietic and non-haemapoietic cells. CD59 is expressed by erythrocytes and therefore staining in whole blood system requires a high concentration of antibody. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry, FLISA, Immunoprecipitation, Western Blot and Immunofluorescence and Immunoelectron Microscopy. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry (Frozen and Paraffin): Antigen retrieval using heat treatement methods prior to staining of paraffin sections is required. Sodium citrate buffer, pH 6.0, is recommended for this procedure. Recommended positive control tissue: Tonsil Western Blot: Non-reducing. The recognized epitope is lost after reduction, therefore, non-reducing conditions are required. Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher. Recommended Negative Controls: I1904-83P1: Mouse IgG2a Negative Control Positive Control: Tonsil Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™650 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
