- CD47 is a cell surface glycoprotein that is a heavily N-glycosylated 47-52kD molecule. CD47 is expressed on all cells and tissues so far examined, although expression is reduced on erythrocytes of the rare Rh null phenotype. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot and Functional Assays. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 1:10 Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections Western Blot: Recognizes CD47 under non-reducing conditions, the CD47 epitope recognized is lost on reduction Functional Assays: Sodium azide removal is recommended Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher.
