- CD45 called CD45RB is a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family. The PTP proteins are signalling molecules that are involved in a variety of cellular processes including cell growth, differentiation, mitosis and oncogenesis. CD45 is an essential regulator of T- and B-cell antigen receptor signalling. CD45 has various isoforms generated by different splicing of exons. Clone C363-16A recognises CD45RB, generated by exon 5 splicing. This 220kDa glycoprotein is expressed on peripheral B-cells, naïve T-cells, thymocytes, macrophages and dendritic cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry: Frozen and paraffin sections Optimal dilutions to be determined by the research. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
