- CD21, also known as complement receptor 2, is expressed on all mature circulating B lymphocytes but not on T lymphocytes or natural killer cells.1 Low density CD21 has also been reported on granulocytes and monocytes. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemisty and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry: Acetone-fixed and frozen tissues sections only. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
