- CD14 is a 375 amino acid, ~55kD, GPI-anchored cell membrane protein found predominantly on monocytes and macrophages, it is less strongly expressed on granulocytes, and is absent from stem cells and myeloid cells of very early differentiation states. In immunohistology CD14 present on Langerhans cells, follicular dendritic cells, histocytes and high endothelial venules. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: Neat, 20ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul. Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
