- MaxLight™ 550 is a new Yellow-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™546, 555, DyLight™549 , Cy3™, TRITC and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (550nm); Emission (575nm); Extinction Coefficient 150,000. Leukocyte Function-associated Antigen-1 (LFA-1) is a member of the integrin family of cell adhesion molecules.1, 2 The antigen is expressed on thymocytes, T and B lymphocytes, and on non-lymphoid cells in the bone marrow.2 CD11a appears to be an essential component for T-cell activation by antigen-presenting cells and is important for cell-mediated killing. Co-stimulatory signaling by LFA-1 is achieved by pairing with its ligand, CD54/ICAM-1.1, 2 Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™550 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
