CD 8 comprises 2 subunits, alpha and beta and exists as either an alpha/alpha homodimer or an alpha/beta heterodimer. Sequence suggests that guinea pig CD8 is more closely related to human than rat or mouse CD8 Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 1:100; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): 1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: X63-Ag8.653 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
