- MaxLight™550 is a new Yellow-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™546, 555, DyLight™549 , Cy3™, TRITC and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (550nm); Emission (575nm); Extinction Coefficient 150,000. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, in vitro blocking studies, and Immunohistochemistry (frozen, paraffin-embedded following PLP Fixation (periodate-lysine paraformaldehyde). Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:100 Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. Immunohistochemistry: Does not require protein digestion pre-treatment of paraffin embedded sections, Does not require antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin embedded sections. Optimal dilution determined by the researcher Hybridoma: Spleen cells from immunized BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the NS1 mouse myeloma cell line. Recommended Secondary Reagents: IgG Goat anti mouse IgG:FITC (rat adsorbed) IgG Goat anti mouse IgG:RPE (rat adsorbed) Recommended Negative Controls: Mouse IgG1 Negative Control Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™550 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
