- CD195 is a 45kD glycoprotein also known as CCR5. CD195 acts as a receptor for a number of chemokines including RANTES and eotaxin and also serves as a co-receptor for the entry of HIV into cells. CD195 is expressed by a subset of T lymphocytes and by monocytes. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: Neat-1:10, 10ul labels 100ul fresh whole blood Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher. Hybridoma: Spleen cells from immunized rats were fused with cell of the rat Y3 myeloma cell line. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
