- Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.5-2ug/ml detects CaM Kinase II, alpha subunit, in bovine brain cytosol and rat brain microsome preparations. Bovine brain cytosol was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with anti-CaM Kinase II (0.5ug/ml). Proteins were visualized using a goat antimouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system. Immunohistochemistry: This antibody has been reported to detect CaM Kinase II, alpha subunit, in rat brain coronal sections. Optimal dilution determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
