- Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Neutralization. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA (Sandwich): 5-6ug/ml (100ul/well) detects at least 1000pg/ml of recombinant human BAFF when used with B0003-64S as the detection antibody at a concentration of ~0.25-0.5ug/ml. Western Blot: 0.25-0.5ug/ml detects ~0.3-0.4ug/ml of recombinant human BAFF under reducing and non-reducing conditions. Neutralization: 0.3-0.4ug/ml needed to yield one-half of the maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of human BAFF (250ng/ml). Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
